To the insane delight of fans, Peter Hook has been performing classic Joy Division and New Order albums in full over the last several years. So far he's played Unknown Pleasures, Closer, Movement, Power Corruption & Lies, Low Life, Brotherhood, and Substance.

Today Hooky announced plans to tackle two more New Order albums live: the electro-groovy 1989 album Technique and 1993's Republic.

As has been the case with his previous album tours, the tour debuts in the U.K. this fall, and he'll eventually bring the tour to the rest of the world over the next year or so. For now he's announced three initial dates for London, Manchester, and Glasgow.

Sep 28 - London @ KoKo
Sep 29 - Manchester @ Albert Hall
Sep 30 - Glasgow @ O2 ABC

Even though Hook has announced plans to perform Technique and Republic, his tour in support of older albums is far from over. In May he'll kick off a new leg of Substance dates in North America which will see him perform both compilations by Joy Division and New Order in full. The tour includes a Detroit area stop at the Royal Oak Music Theatre on May 3rd and tickets are available here.
