Ten years ago The Mission UK performed a series of live "farewell" shows in London at Shepherd's Bush Empire. The band played four of their albums in full over four consecutive nights, culminating with a second/bonus show on the final night featuring hits and fan favorites. The Mission later compiled portions of the concert for a DVD release The Mission - The Final Chapter, which was released in 2009. Now the full audio from live concert recordings will be immortalized on a new 5 disc box which is set for a March 30th release through Cherry Red.
For Ever More Live At London Shepherd's Bush Empire 2008 features The Mission performing the 1987 compilation The First Chapter, albums God's Own Medicine, Children, and Carved In Sand; and the second/bonus show featuring hits and fan favorites.
