According to an update from Echo & the Bunnymen, Ian McCulloch is demoing new tracks with producer Youth and is preparing to play more solo acoustic shows in 2013. McCulloch also recently uploaded a live version (audio) of "Bring On The Dancing Horses" from last year's show at Union Chapel featuring Ian Broudie. Take a listen below:

In more Echo & the Bunnymen news, Poltergeist (the new musical project featuring original Bunnymen members Will Sergeant, Les Pattinson, and Nick Kilroe) announced today that they've launched a Pledge Music campaign and hope to release their debut album Your Mind Is A Box (Let Us Fill It With Wonder). Fans interested in the album can view a variety of album incentives and make a pledge/pre-order the album here. Take a listen to a sample of their song "Cathedral" in the trailer for the new album below:
