Echo & the Bunnymen's U.K. tour got off to an unfortunate start -- a few dates into the tour, leader Ian McCulloch lost his voice. McCulloch's laryngitis is severe enough that the band has decided to postpone all the remaining dates on the U.K. tour. McCulloch is expected to fully recover after resting his voice, and make up dates will be rescheduled for June. The U.K. tour postponement will not affect the North American tour which kicks off in August.

Echo & the Bunnymen release the new Youth-produced album Meteorites on June 3rd. Pre-order from iTunes, Amazon, and Pledge Music (Pledge Music is offering a deluxe edition which comes with a bonus 'making of the album' DVD).
