The Orb announced a career spanning 4 CD/DVD boxset retrospective celebrating the band's 25th anniversary. The Orb - History of the Future by Dr. Alex Patterson arrives October 7 and includes a collection of greatest hits, rarities, live material, and classic videos/performances from the band's impressive catalog. Mega Orb fans likely already own the material on the first two discs, but many of the live recordings on disc 3 and the DVD have not been commercially released. The tracklisting for the collection is posted at the bottom of this page and read the press release for the boxset here.

To further celebrate the Orb's silver jubilee, a jaunt of North America has been announced. Dates for the 25th anniversary tour are posted below.
