Foo Fighters' drummer, Taylor Hawkins, has signed on to play Iggy Pop in the upcoming movie about the legendary New York City venue CBGB's.  The Hollywood Reporter, who exclusively broke the story, has posted side by side pics of Iggy & Taylor.  Take a look at the story and pics here and decide for yourself whether you think Hawkins can pull it off.

The biopic will tell the story of CBGB's and how it help launch the careers of bands like the Ramones, Blondie, Talking Heads, and more.  The film also will feature Alan Rickman as CBGB's owner, Hilly Kristal, and Malin Akerman as Debbie Harry.  Production starts later this month.
