New Order and Johnny Marr played a few shows together in North America in the spring, and Electronic fans had been hoping for some sort of reunion, but were left disappointed. Finally, an Electronic reunion of sorts happened yesterday in Macclesfield, U.K. after both acts performed at the New Order curated Transmission outdoor festival at Jodrell Bank. Bernard Sumner joined Marr near the end of his set for a performance of Electronic's "Getting Away With It." Enjoy video of the Electronic reunion below plus click here for an upclose pic, and here's another of Sumner arriving at the venue via helicopter

UPDATE (7/8 @ 5pm):  Awesome video of "Getting Away With It" posted below!

Meanwhile, New Order's live collection Live at Bestival 2012 was released today as a digital album download and will be available physically (on cd) in North America on July 16th. Proceeds from the sale of the album benefit the Isle of Wight Youth Trust. Stream the collection below and purchase on iTunes or Amazon.
