Rolling Stone premiered the alternate video for the Pixies' new single "Bagboy." The band released a new video, not because some media outlets criticized the original, but because they filmed two and couldn't really choose which one they liked best. Black Francis told Rolling Stone both clips are creative and were made by up and coming filmmakers so they decided to release both. UPDATE: The Pixies have now confirmed a set of dates in Los Angeles and tickets for those shows go on sale Saturday at 10am PT. The North American tour itinerary has been updated below to reflect all the announced dates.
The Pixies have announced four NYC shows which take place September 17 through 20th. Tickets for the new shows go on sale Saturday morning at 10am ET. The Pixies previously announced they'll play September 15th at Riot Fest in Chicago. Single day passes for Riot Fest are on sale now. The band is expected to announce a full North American tour shortly.
