Panic! At The Disco will launch their first ever headline tour June 6th, and indeed they will be making a stop in the Detroit area. You'll be able to check out the sweet and emotional sounds of Panic! At The Disco July 14th at the State Theater. And for those of you that need a double shot of sins, not tragedies...well, there's also a Grand Rapids date July 13th at the Orbit Room. Stay close and keep it on 89x for further ticket information.
Korn is gearing up for a big festival jaunt this summer. Munky says that they are going to be hooking up with the Deftones and probably a couple of other bands for a festival tour. No word on whether it will be called Kornfest.
Sully Erna and the boys will release the new Godsmack cd, IV, on April 25th. The first single from the cd is called "Speak" and you've heard it many times on 89x. Now you can check out the video for the song online. Enjoy. Erna recently did an interview with Launch and said that he was going though a rough spell when he recorded the new cd. He was dealing with a court/lawsuit situation plus he came clean and told his girlfriend that he had been lying to her. Still, Erna says that the record isn't a downer...he says it rocks pretty hard. Look for Godsmack to lay somewhat low over the summer, but they'll launch a headline tour in the fall.
