Ex-members of the Jam will play at show at the Crofoot on February 5th. Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler have recruited Russell Hastings and Dave Moore for a Jam "reunion" of sorts. Hugh Cornwell from the Stranglers will open up the show. Tickets are on sale now.

Noticably absent from the reunion is Paul Weller. Weller nixed the idea of a reunion, telling the BBC, "that will never, ever happen. Me and my children would have to be destitute and starving in the gutter before I'd even consider that...it still means something to people and a lot of that's because we stopped at the right time, it didn't go on and become embarrassing."
Rock.com released the results of their poll, "which rock artist would make the best president of the United States?" Here are the winners:

1. Billie Joe Armstrong
2. Bono
3. Marilyn Manson
4. Ozzy
5. Ted Nugent
6. Pete Wentz
7. Gerard Way
8. Axl Rose
9. Bruce Springsteen
10. Gene Simmons
Lenny Kravitz has revealed he's going to give some of his fans free passes for all of the dates on his upcoming tour. Apparently the limited number of tickets will be available 24 hours before each show on the tour. The Detroit show is January 27th at the Fillmore, so be sure to check out Lenny's official website a day or two before the show to find out how to win the passes. You can check out his myspace page or this official website to get the details.

Lenny will release his new cd, It Is Time For A Love Revolution on February 5th.
The English Beat celebrated the 25th anniversary of their cd Special Beat Service last year. This year they've decided to keep the celebration going by hitting the road for a winter tour. The tour kicks off in February and the tour will be at the Majestic Theater on February 20th. Tickets are on sale now.
The New York Dolls are getting ready to hit the road for a winter tour. The band will be promoting their 2006 cd, One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This. The tour kicks Febuary 12th in Baltimore and will hit the Majestic Theater on February 22nd. Tickets are on sale now.
