Earlier this month Paul Heaton (ex-Housemartins and Beautiful South) released a new album Paul Heaton Presents...The 8th, which is the studio version of his opera The 8th. The album features performers from the original cast, including ex-Beautiful South singer Jacqui Abbott. Watch a trailer for The 8th, featuring Heaton discussing the opera below:



The 8th was released as a physical and digital album in the U.K., and is available on import in the U.S.

Heaton just wrapped up a short tour to promote The 8th, and some video is posted below.
