Echo & The Bunnymen are finishing up work on their new Youth-produced studio album.  In a new posting on Facebook today, the band revealed they've come up with a title and artwork for the album and will be announcing the details (and release date) for the record soon.  The posting also confirmed that a U.S. tour will be announced shortly. Read the full posting below:

"Echo & The Bunnymen New Album & Tour Announcement very soon.

We are very excited to announce that the brand new studio album produced by Youth (The Verve, embrace etc) is nearing completion and that a title and artwork are decided plus a full European tour already booked. US dates to follow.

Ian feels it's the bands best work for a very long time.

More details to follow."

Seems like a good excuse to post some awesome live video of Ian McCulloch in action!
