A new 5 disc box set collecting demo sessions and live recordings from The New York Dolls will be released this spring. Personality Crisis: Live Recordings & Studio Demos 1972-1975 features demos, live shows, and radio sessions from the legendary band. The set captures the band at their best - raw, intense, and powerful.

The demos are taken from three sessions prior to the band's short lived stay on Mercury Records and includes early versions of "Trash," "Personality Crisis," "Pills," "Jet Boy," and more. It should be noted that these demos were previously released in 2006 on Private World: The Complete Early Studio Demos 1972 - 1973, however the compilation is now out of print. The bulk of the material on the set - three discs - is taken from live shows from 1973 through 1975. Of note one of the live sets is the band's Detroit performance captured on New Year's Eve 1973 at the Michigan Palace. All of the material - demos and live material - has been remastered and comes packaged in a clamshell box.

Personality Crisis: Live Recordings & Studio Demos 1972 - 1975 arrives April 27th and is available to pre-order through Amazon and Cherry Red. View the tracklisting below:
