The Cure announced a North American tour.

The 30 date Shows Of A Lost World tour kicks off May 10th in New Orleans and includes a Detroit area show June 13th at Pine Knob. The Twilight Sad will be opening all the shows.

Ticketing for the show is as follows: a Ticketmaster Verified Fan Sale will take place Wednesday, March 15th and requires registration to access. The deadline to register is Monday, March 13th at 1pm ET (10am PT). Fans can register for a maximum of 5 shows.

As for pricing, The Cure say they have agreed upon all ticket prices and aside from a few charity seats at the Hollywood Bowl shows, there will be NO platinum or dynamically priced tickets on the tour.

Head here for more details.

The Cure still haven't released their highly anticipated album Songs Of A Lost World, however The Cure debuted several songs from the album on the European/UK leg of the tour last fall. Fans going to the North American tour will likely be treated to new material and who knows what other surprises.

Meanwhile, Robert Smith recently put his magical remix skills to work on Noel Gallagher's new single "Pretty Boy," which debuted yesterday. The track is available to stream now and will appear as bonus material on the deluxe edition of Gallagher's album Council Skies. Stream Robert Smith's remix below.
