Morrissey is about to release a 10 inch picture disc for Record Store Day featuring a "Suedehead" remix by Mael Brothers (Ron & Russell Mael, aka, Sparks) backed with two live tracks recorded for the BBC in 1995. Back in 2005 a Sparks remix of "Suedehead" was released on Rhino's alternative remix compilation Future Retro, so it's unclear whether the Mael Brothers remix for Record Store Day is a brand new remix from the Mael Brothers, or if they're just releasing the 2005 remix on vinyl.

FYI, the 2005 version of the "Suedehead" remix is available digitally here and you can listen to it below:

A few years ago, Sparks released a pretty entertaining song about Morrissey called "Lighten Up Morrissey." The song appeared on their 2008 album Exotic Creatures of the Deep, and Morrissey was entertained by the song and went on to use it as the intro to his 2009 tour.
