Yesterday was Robert Smith's birthday and he gave Cure fans at last night's show held in Mexico City the best present ever - Smith and the band performed a 51 song show that lasted over FOUR hours! Things got off to a somewhat shaky start as a magnitude 5.9 earthquake rumbled through Mexico just minutes before the show began. [According to a report in Sideline, there were some moments of panic - over 40 thousand fans were in and around the venue - but after the shaking stopped, order resumed, and it even appeared the Cure were unaware of the earthquake, or at least didn't make mention of it when their performance began.]

The Cure performed an amazing 26 song set, then returned for four more encores (25 more songs total!) at the show, which took place at Foto Sol in Mexico City. Take a look at the amazing setlist below via The Cure Mexico plus check out some fan filmed video.

UPDATED on 4/24 with some amazing video of Robert Smith performing two songs solo!
