Loz Colbert of Ride is participating in a TWELVE HOUR NON STOP drum marathon tonight.

Colbert's drumming marathon session is part of a weeklong drumming relay in support of Britain's National Health Service (NHS). Colbert started playing at 4pm ET today and will finish at 4am ET (9am UK time). Colbert revealed earlier on social media that he's planning to performing tracks from Ride and Gaz Coombes (of Supergrass) for the most part.

Organizer/drummer Errol Kennedy held his own 24 hour drum marathon on April 8th and raised over 7 thousand pounds (over 8 thousand U.S. dollars) for the NHS. Since the April 8th event was such a success Kennedy decided to launch a weeklong event to help keep the money rolling in for the NHS. The #DrumForNHS event kicked off on May 7th and runs through May 15th and is available to view as a live stream.

Head here to learn more about #DrumForNHS and donate. Watch the live stream which is underway now here.
