OMD's classic single "Enola Gay" turned 40 years old this week.

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the single, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark issued a remastered HD version of the video, along with an anniversary t-shirt, and new remix of the track by Hot Chip. The remix, which is available to stream below, will be issued on limited edition colored vinyl on November 27th. The 12" includes two tracks - both are mixes by Hot Chip - and features updated cover art, which is available to view below (original 1980 cover art is featured at the top of this post). Head here to pre-order.

As reported previously OMD host a live streaming event You Me and OMD on October 24th at 4pm ET (9pm UK time) where they'll perform classics from the critically acclaimed 1981 album Architecture & Morality along with a selection of greatest hits. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to OMD's crew.
