The legendary Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk has died.

Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark are holding a streaming concert event this Saturday, May 9th.

Wire will return with a new compilation titled 10:20 on June 19th.

Ireland's premiere DJ, the always on-point brilliant music maven Evil Presidentes (aka Neil Waters) is back with some brand new mixes.

Evil Presidentes created two new chilled out mixes to help ease the pain and boredom of troubling quarantine days and nights. The soothing mixes include music old and new and are available to stream below or over on Soundcloud. Alien Happiness Mix is here and instore sessions #1 is here.

Over the years Evil Presidentes has created several other enchanting sets focusing on Depeche Mode and David Bowie, plus he's also served up the superb Anti-Matter Mix that was featured as part of Classified Records' event The Dystopian Disco which included a stellar and timeless mix of ultimate post-punk classics.

Beggars Arkive has announced the release of expanded editions of The Charlatans second album Between 10th and 11th.

The expanded editions will contain the original album plus a bonus live disc of a concert captured live in Chicago at The Metro on February 21st 1991. Bootlegs of the show, titled Isolation, has been circulating among fans for years however it will now be given a proper release as part of the reissue.

Between 10th and 11th will be issued on 2LP clear vinyl and 2CD on July 3rd. View the options and pre-order here.

In more Charlatans news, this Sunday, May 10th marks the 30th anniversary of the mad classic "The Only One I Know." The band revealed on social media that they're planning to mark the anniversary Sunday by sharing a demo of the iconic single. So stay tuned.

Update: Whoops -- The Charlatans have determined "The Only One I Know" was originally issued May 14th, 1990 and not May 10th. Thus the 30th anniversary unveiling of the demo will take place a few days later than previously planned. Check back with them on Thursday to hear the demo!

Meanwhile Tim Burgess is prepping the release of his new solo album I Love The New Sky which is set to arrive on May 22nd (pre-order here). He's also keeping busy with his "full time job" which is holding Twitter listening parties to celebrate classic albums with fans around the globe.

***Please note The The's Soul Mining listening party scheduled for Saturday, May 9th has been postponed - Matt Johnson was hospitalized earlier this week due to illness and is said to be on the mend. He plans to reschedule once is he is feeling better. A listening party for The Libertines' self-titled album will take the place of the Soul Mining party this Saturday.
