It's Ian McCulloch's birthday today...celebrate with some Echo + The Bunnymen

"Ocean Rain," the title track to the band's 1984 album, is one of the best songs ever recorded.  Everything about it is just so right...

"Bring On The Dancing Horses"

Ian McCulloch is about to release a new solo album, Pro Patria Mori through Pledgemusic.  McCulloch has met his pledge goal, so the album will definitely be released, though the date has not been announced yet.  You can still pledge and take advantage of the album incentives here.

Echo + the Bunnymen fans may also be interested in McCulloch's newly released book, The Lyrics of Ian McCulloch.  Lyrics from over 150 songs spanning McCulloch's entire career have been compiled in a 236 page hardcover book.  More information on the book and ordering information is available here.
