Washington D.C.'s Dot Dash (featuring ex-members from Swervedriver, Youth Brigade, Modest Proposal, Julie Ocean, and many others) released their second album Winter Garden Light in September. The new album is an impressive collection of post-punk-guitar-pop (and it sure didn't hurt to name themselves after a Wire song). You'll love Dot Dash - the songs are short and oh-so-sweet, kinda like...Wire.   Actually, don't bother with comparisons...just take a listen for yourself!  Watch their video for "The Past Is Another Country," to get an idea of what Dot Dash are all about:

Winter Garden Light is available through iTunes, Amazon, emusic, and Bandcamp, while physical copies are available through Amazon and label The Beautiful Music.  If you like Winter Garden Light go back and grab the 2011 album from Dot Dash, spark>flame>ember>ash, which is available through digital etailers and The Beautiful Music.

Stream another Dot Dash track "Writing On The Wall" below and head over to Bandcamp to stream Winter Garden Light in its entirety.
