Peter Hook & the Light's exciting new tour Substance: Joy Division & New Order kicked off in Glasgow tonight. The three hour show delivered as promised -- featured material from both Substance albums -- and elicited rave reviews from fans on social media. Take a look at Peter Hook's picture of the setlist below:

The Substance: Joy Division & New Order tour moves to Manchester, where Hooky and his band will play the Apollo Theatre tomorrow night. Tomorrow's performance will be recorded and released as a 3 CD set and/or digital download on September 19th through Live Here Now (the same outfit that released Hook's previous live albums So This Is Permanence, Unknown Pleasures - Live at Goodwood, and the Hebden Bridge Tapes). Pre-order here.

The North American leg of Substance: Joy Division & New Order kicks off in New York at Webster Hall on September 22nd and makes it way to Saint Andrew's Hall in Detroit on October 26th. View the full North American tour itinerary below:

Meanwhile, Peter Hook releases his latest memoir Substance: Inside New Order on October 6th. More info on that is posted here.
