Q held their annual awards ceremony in London earlier today and classic alternative legends represented and cleaned up.

Noel Gallagher beat out brother Liam for Best Solo Artist. Noel ribbed Liam during his acceptance speech stating, "if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be a fucking solo artist in the first place."

Bono from U2 later presented Gallagher with his second award of the evening - Outstanding Contribution to Music.

Meanwhile Iggy Pop and Underworld's "Bells and Circles" won Best Track; Paul Weller was named Best Act in the World Today; Brett Anderson of Suede was honored with Q's Lifetime Achievement award; Nile Rodgers was named Q Legend and during his acceptance speech paid tribute to Roxy Music for inspiring him; Lawrence of Felt won his first award ever: Q Maverick, and Ian McCulloch was crowned Q Icon.

Head over to Q for the full list of winners.
