David Bowie's critically acclaimed exhibition David Bowie Is has been adapted into a virtual reality/augmented reality mobile app. The exhibition, which was previously on display in 13 cities including Tokyo, New York, Paris, and Chicago in 2013 was a superb showcase of Bowie's music, costumes, lyrics, films, art, and other artifacts, along with immersive audio and narration.

The David Bowie Is app is the first of its kind and will offer the viewer the ability to view these Bowie artifacts in amazing 360 degree detail and will be available in seven different languages. Additionally the app will feature several pieces not included in the touring exhibition.

The app will be available starting January 8th (David Bowie's birthday) on iOS and Android.
