David Bowie's archive has uploaded two classic Bowie videos -- the remastered original (1969) version of "Space Oddity" and the original uncensored version of "China Girl" (featuring Bowie's bare behind) below:

The "Space Oddity" video was created February 6th, 1969 as a segment for the larger promotional Bowie film Love You Till Tuesday. "Space Oddity" would later debut on the BBC in 1975; the film Love You Till Tuesday was shelved and eventually released on home video in 1984. Read more about the video here.

The "China Girl" video was originally released in 1983 and was one of Bowie's "very simple, very direct" statements on racism. Read more about the video here.

Meanwhile two separate David Bowie collections are due out this spring in celebration of the 50th anniversary of "Space Oddity": Spying Through A Keyhole is a 7" box set which collects nine rare and previously unreleased demos (including 2 early demos of "Space Oddity"). The set arrives April 3rd and is available to pre-order here. The Clareville Grove Demos 7" vinyl singles box features a different (later) demo of "Space Oddity" along with five other home demos (four previously unreleased demos total) and will be released May 15th. Pre-order here.
