A documentary about Hole's drummer Patty Schemel will finally enjoy a run in theaters next month. So far Hit So Hard: The Life & Near Death Story of Patty Schemel has only been shown at film festivals, but starting in April the film will open in theaters in select cities. New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco have official screening dates and more are expected to be announced soon. Hit So Hard: The Life & Near Death Story of Patty Schemel features a ton of footage from Hole's heyday in the early 90's. Yes, of course Courtney Love makes plenty of appearances, but this is Schemel's story, not Love's (or Hole's, for that matter.) Watch the trailer and interview footage below, and visit the official website here.
