Joy Division's iconic anthem "Love Will Tear Us Apart" was released on this day in 1980. The 7" release (FAC 23) featured the single version of "Love Will Tear Us Apart" backed by "These Days" and original "Love Will Tear Us Apart" recording (aka Pennine version) that Ian Curtis and Martin Hannett hated.
