R.E.M. revealed that a 25th anniversary edition of Monster will be released in October. Details will be announced later in the year, but is expected to be similar to the band's previous anniversary collections - expanded with bonus material, demos, live material, etc. The 25th anniversary edition of Monster is still in the formative stages as you can see in the picture below which R.E.M. posted on Facebook.

Monster was released on September 27th 1994 and yielded the singles "Strange Currencies," "Bang And Blame," "Crush With Eyeliner," and more plus includes "Let Me In," which was written in honor of Kurt Cobain.
