Bombshell news: Ex-members of The Smiths - Mike Joyce, Andy Rourke, and Craig Gannon (Gannon was the second guitarist in The Smiths) - have something up their sleeves.

Earlier today Joyce posted a cryptic graphic teasing some sort of project on social media. So far no further details have been announced, so let your imagination run wild! A live show? A few live shows? A recording????

Stay tuned for details!

For those wondering if this is something that will include Johnny Marr and Morrissey...LOLOL no chance. Though Marr has appeared on stage with Rourke a few times over recent years, it's highly unlikely he would partner up with his ex-bandmates for any kind of project. We needn't even discuss the possibilities of Morrissey's possible participation. Let's just say you'd have more luck getting Morrissey to visit Buckingham Palace for tea and crumpets with The Queen followed by the two belting out a rousing version of "Sorrow Will Come In The End."

Regardless, this summer should be interesting indeed.
